How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?
Renting a dumpster costs $300-$600 on average, but your exact dumpster price may be more or less. A key factor in dumpster rental pricing is the type of debris going into the dumpster. If you’re renting a dumpster for a concrete removal project and you only plan on disposing of concrete debris, chances are the dumpster company will offer a more reasonable price than they would for mixed material. The same oftentimes goes for yard waste and roofing shingles.
For one or two large items, are there disposal options other than renting a dumpster?
The City of Modesto contracts with garbage companies for weekly trash pick-up and bulk trash pick-up. Consider utilizing the free city resources if you just have a few bulky household items to throw away. They offer two pick-ups per calendar year, and items are set up by appointment. Please call your residential garbage company or visit the Modesto Bulk Trash Program directly.
